    Been there, done that.
    Problem is when you say it will only be on the driveway for a month while you part it out and it's still there 18months later....
    I'm probably my own worst enemy.

    Station Wagons are VERY hard to get parts for. We have many enquires for them, though we have 2 here now, 1 complete. The roof is a keeper, safari roofs are hard to come by also. Just take it home, SWMBO will forgive you eventually

    I thought that wagon looked familiar, its sitting in my driveway now being restored.

    On an entirely unrelated note, does anyone know where i can get a set of wagon doors for a S3

    I thought the Bar was the place the best ideas come from, usually starting with "hold my beer"
    Working on a Land Rover is a strange thing, its a mix of "Why on earth is it put together like that" and "Who thought that was a good idea at the time"...

    But you would still stab someone if they tried to take it from you
