In WA an unroadworthy farm vehicle, can travel on public roads for short distances between property owned by the one person; the vehicle has a registration number with "FARM" stamped on the top, this seems to apply only to trucks and light vehicles.

My tractor which has no indicators, brake or parking lights, however, is licenced for about $70pa and can legally drive anywhere on country roads, provided that it is on farm business,

    Cheers Charlie
