I have one over the top of the Fairey - the overdrive actually is very little higher than the transfer case. You could just measure the hole it has to fit through. I'll see if I can measure mine tomorrow.
Hi.
Any one made one of these up. ?
What are the measurements please.
Will they fit with the fairey type overdrive fitted.
Thanks.

Thanks John.
Yours from OS, or an original type ?
I am sure I could get one made up locally, cheap enough.
Is there a slot in the back, so original top cover can be fitted ?

I made mine from sheet aluminium and aluminium angle, pop riveted together. The original cover fits over it. Only real problem is that it is not really dustproof.
I made it longer, and it goes back under another couple of inches, to allow longer tools to fit. This probably does not help dustproofing.

I made one up for my Lightweight, just take the measurements from the opening. since its a 2 seater I also made a fake seat cushion for the centre which is really a cubby box , to the casual observer it just looks like 2 normal seats, but the storage is huge (for a LandRover)
The dog happily sits on it .

I just bought mine from Paddocks, not cheap but I don't have the skill to make one.
Cheers,
John
