    Restoring Mouldy Vinyl Sun Visors

Mine are covered in dry mould spots, which I can't get off. Would vinyl paint tidy them up?

    Cleaners

    Hello from Brisbane.

I take it that a cleaner like white vinegar or bleach hadn’t been successful in removing the spots?

Both have worked on my boat covers and upholstery in the past.

    Cheers

    Stuck visor

    Hello again from Brisbane.

I have a different visor problem (apologies for hijacking the thread).

One of the visors on my truck is stuck at one of the two pivots - concerned that using excessive force will break the tube from the surrounding foam.

Penetrating oil hasn’t made much of a difference so far.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,

    Neil

I ended up painting them with vinyl paint. They came up pretty good.
