Fairey OD, L shaped bracket dimensions?

I have been given a Fairey overdrive which I am planning to install in my series 1 86". I have all parts except the L shaped bracket that bolts on to the gearbox which the lever pivots off, and the pivot bolt itself. The pivot bolt is easy enough to make up on the lathe. To aid making up a L shaped bracket, could anyone provide me with the dimension from the bend in the bracket to the pivot nut welded on to the bracket? It would save me having to start from first principals measuring up linkages etc...

    Thanks,
    Chris.

Chris, I have my OD out of the S1 with the intention of fitting it to an S3 but its in a box in storage at the moment. I can get the info and a pic in a couple of days if no one else gives it to you.
    Cheers,

No worries Terry. I won't be moving on it in the next few weeks anyway. I've got a bearing or two to source first.
    Cheers, Chris.

Pictures attached of a bracket removed from a Series II.
There are 2 possible pivot points.

Unfortunately the input gear/bearing in the Fairey were cactus but it may donate some spares. I did then get another without the linkage but I've yet to investigate whether it's usable.
Having now driven a Series with a high ratio transfer box I'd tend towards that as a better option, only the cost being an issue.

PM your email address if you need more photos/measurements.

Regarding above pictures of the bracket and two places the pivot pin for the lever can be screwed into: The extra length of the 6 cylinder Rover motor over the 4 cylinder ones is accommodated by moving the gearbox and firewall rearwards. So overdrive gear lever is about the same position coming out of the side of the transmission tunnel, the position near the end of bracket as in the illustration is used for the six .

With the rear of gearbox in position for four cylinder motors, the other one is used and the surplus could be cut off if desired. Note this would also usually apply when a Holden 6 cylinder or other longer motor has been installed. A recess is normally cut into the front chassis cross member and the radiator moved forward into it. instead of moving the gearbox and firewall rearwards. Especially as a shorter rear and longer front propeller shaft is needed.

    Hi Chris,
    A bit more info:

Bracket is made from 40x5 steel strip, and has a slight fold along the top to clear the gearbox cover.
inside bend to 1st pivot nut is 123mm, inside bend to 2nd pivot nut is 200mm (for LW
Inside bend to 1st GB mounting bolt is 28mm, centre distance of the 2 holes is 85mm
Pivot bolt thread on mine looks like M12 x 1.75
