Series 3 109 station wagon fuel tanks

Good afternoon all, I'm building a series 3 109 bitza and looking at options for fuel tanks. Currently i have 2x rear wagon tanks to choose from, 2x aluminum and 1 steel side tanks. Just after any ideas or inspiration. Looking specifically at what people have done in the past in terms of filling a side tank in a station wagon. Thanks all.

My Dormobile has a tank under the drivers seat but filled like a Series I, lift the seat and remove panel. Looks like a Series I filler cap.
Not Ideal but fitted by someone many years ago.

My Defender has a sill tank, filler in the triangular panel in front of the rear wheel arch.
Pump used to transfer fuel into the main tank.

Thanks for sharing that, I don't mind the defender filler idea. I have heard of people putting the filler in the engine bay... I'll keep pondering this one for a bit i think.
