Hi Stephen.
I believe the flexing mainshaft cause the one piece bush to split.
When I rebuilt my S3 gearbox, I loctited the one piece bush to the shaft, so if it breaks, it is still connected to the shaft, so the gear continues to rotate the bush.
The problem I see with the two piece is that the pins hold the one half, but unless loctited, what stops the second half of the bush rotating on the mainshaft ?
Maybe thats not a problem.
Just my thoughts.
