Considering Series landies from S1 to S3 (& excluding Stage 1 and more recent) what types of nuts and bolts were used in production? If there were changes from BSF to SAE, when did this happen? Were Metric nuts and bolts ever used, and from when?
Dates they changed are 'fluid'. LR carried on till they ran out rather than change at a specific model.
BSF, UNF, Whitworth & BA used on the earlier vehicles. Some BSF threads stayed till the end of Series III.
Not sure if Metric nuts & bolts used towards the end of III although it was on brake lines.
