HELP NEEDED ( SPEEDO NOT WORKING )

Sunday I disconnected my battery to move it as to set it up for next weekend to install a dual battery system and connected it back together , but i notice this morning going to work that my speedo was not working and not counting km traveled (speedo still has amount of kms traveled to date 86000km) ,also i notice my cruise control is not working?
every thing else seems to be OK ecu goes thru its test when you start the Defender so i am wondering has anybody come across this problem before i have not got a nancom to see does a fault have to be corrected has anybody got an idea what it could be.

Obviously not a Tdi... do you have a TD5 or Puma? (Might help people answer the Q a bit easier)
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Just wondering is there anybody in the Adelaide hills with a nanocom to have a look at my defender to see what faults are showing for the speedo not working.

    Thanks Declan
