a TAFE teacher of mine bought one identical to the one listed and he paid 9k i believe but it came with air susp, so 10 k seems pretty reasonable to me.

'98 will be GEMS.
Is the LPG system an injected or venturi system?
What tank installation - does it take up a lot of the boot? I'm having problems with viewing the pics to see.

Ahh, just loaded the pics. It's a venturi system with a large tank in the boot.
Your boot space will be virtually useless - I had one like that.
Be aware that a venturi system can have backfires which will destroy your aircleaner box (see 4.0/4.6/P38A Air Box Replacement ) and possibly damage your MAF. Ask me how I know.

It looks nice and neat but....venturi = minus.....gas cylinder in boot = minus......coil spring conversion = minus.......$10k for all this combined with being an 'S' model = minus.
Sorry to be so negative but I think you can do better for 10 large.
Agreed, should be able to do better for $10k. I paid $9k for my HSE in December with lots of value added things already on it. As for lpg, go the extra effort and get a well placed/sized tank with a SGI system.
Its too much for an SE. I would look for the HSE as it has a few more goodies. In general try too find the latest model you can afford.
Thanks for the info, I would like a newer model but as theres nothing really wrong with my daily driver and I doubt I could afford a 2002 I'm in no hurry, I'll wait till the right one comes along.
I'm just a bit sick of driving my ford to work every day
My 81' RRC is too much of a petrol hungry beast for every day.
Paying for petrol is cheaper than buying a P38A!Originally Posted by HangOver
