			New wheels and Tyres

Just purchased 6 new wolf rims for my 130 and 6 new Coopers ST's to suit. Not much change out of $3500

I haven't actually told the missus how much it has set me back as I believe she would then think she could spend just as much on handbags and shoes

Now I'm looking forward to getting some km's up on the tyres.....

					Well,
Picked up the car from a well known 4x4 place in Adelaide after having the tyres and rims fitted only to find that they had fitted 265/75R16 instead of just replacing the tyres with the same size as that already on the car, which were 235/85R16.

The tyres now rub when the steering is on full lock which not only makes a horrible sound but is probably really no good for the tyres either.

Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need to go back to the shop and get them to change the tyres over for the 'correct' size??

Sounds like your rims might not have a large enough offset for a tyre that wide. I think you can adjust the steering stops to prevent the tyre scrubbing (but which will give you a larger turning circle. Not very good in a 130!), however if i were you I'd head straight back to the shop and get them to change the tyres to the size you wanted. Not much good spending all that money on tyres that you're not happy with!
