Good luck with that, a good diesel 80 is worth twice what your disco is

This will offend a few Land Rover owners - but the 80 Series is well and truly a step up from the Discovery 1 range. There isn't buckley's chance of swapping a 1995ish Disco for a 1995ish Toyo.

Sorry to be speaking so bluntly but I had a 1992 80 Series and it was in every way superior to my 1993 200Tdi Disco.

just looking on carsales.com and there a few 80's there going for around the 5ish mark which are not too bad. i'm not looking for anything special just something reliable and something that dosent make me loose sleep at night lol. i wanna stick with a 4wd as thats basically the only way my family and i can get away for a holiday even if its at the local state forest as we wont be able to afford a proper holiday anytime soon. but guess we'll see what happens.

What Mat says, plus the fact that a simple google search (when you were known as the artist formally known as Joker) will produce images of your car being driven through the stuff that wrecks everything (MUD) lowers the value of it even more. You'd be lucky to swap for a half dead and bogged up 60 series petrol variant. Oh crap I'm not supposed to know who you are am I. Obviously the AULRO witness protection system doesn't work.

Seriously for 5k they'd be shocking. My old man and I got $10,500 for an 80 with a non-running 1HD-T that had dropped a big end (it was a GXL though). I reckon a 5k 80 would be as problematic as your Disco has been.
