Has the wiper arm been poorly fitted on the spline causing the wiper to hit the A pillar?
Now that we are getting a few drops of rain somewhat regularly....
My driver's side wiper goes thump at the extremity of its travel on normal speed while travelling at highway speeds. It doesn't seem to occur around town.
It appears to be that the wiper blade "flops over" with a thump as it reverses direction at the end of its travel. The wipers are probably genuine as it was completely LR serviced.
Clues, commiseration, condemnation??

Hi Mr Jon,
I don't think so but I will have a mother's look this arvo. As I have only noticed it at highway speeds in the rain my attention has been elsewhere.

The angle on my D4 driver's side one was adjusted to overcome this but it still does it a bit. I'll probably end-up replacing the wiper assembly with after-market ones as they are notorius for being noisy.
