LR workshop manual. is it really worth it?

Hey guys
I'm currently in the process or restoring my 1955 86" and i was contemplating purchasing a workshop manual, i haven't been able to find a Hayes or Gregory manual at any of the automotive stores in town, but Autobarn has a genuine reproduction Land Rover manual for 86" 88" 107"109".
At $110 im hoping it would have alot of information that would be very useful in the process of rebuilding.

I was just wondering if any of you own this manual or have seen this manual and if you know what kind of information is in it.
Any advice/opinions will be helpful.

That looks like a great buy, but where my Landy is there is no computer unless i take the notebook but its only very small.

Print out the pages you need.

I understand what you mean P38arover but i want it there with me so if im working on it and find something i dont know i can pick up a book and flick through it and id rather a book alot neater and smaller than carting around a folder.

would this manual have the wiring diagrams of engine bay and dashboard

The manual is worth buying, plenty of info on all parts, electrical and mechanical, in series 1's.
Could have done with some more diagrams though, not bad since it covers 10 years of vehicles.

If you can wait a couple of weeks these ones are very good; I can verify the quality having bought 3 of them.

and way cheaper than the price quoted to you.

I agree with you Shaun; reading a real manual is so much more convenient than reading a computer,

L/R manuals are very good
in saying that they at times state bits and pieces that a non mech types have no understanding of what they are on about
Haynes manuals are far easier for the non believers as they pull things apart and tell how to put them back together
L/R manuals do have a lot of incorrect info
you need the updates from L/R to correct the manual, may-be
having been there and done that, pulling it apart, putting back together, doing it all again and again.
practice make the perfect
L/R were far from perfect and 60 years have not changed the marque
