    Cargo Barrier - D4

    Hi,

Has anyone purchased a genuine LR cargo barrier for a D4? If so, are they easy to fit and remove?

    Thanks,

Looking at it, but it is a long queue.

I have been looking at the half barriers fitted top drop of drawer sets. May be a better prospect.

Are the genuine barriers approved in Oz yet? Last time I checked (some time ago) they told me they weren't.

    Wink Cargo Barriers D4

Ordered one through Trivetts in Sydney..took about two weeks to come from UK.To be fitted next week.On the surface and looking at the fitting instruction it will be a simple fit and an easy removal.

JohnH, do you have a part number?
We have been told the ones in the parts catalogue are not compliant to Aus.
The part number should be a "RAA???" number as this has then been designed for the Australian Market (RAA-Rover Australia Accessory)

    Cheers

    CaverD3,
I also dont see a problem witht he D3 version fitting, but i do question the one that John has ordered. If the person he ordered it from says it is in the catalogue, then i would take it as a UK version as the catalogue (even tho' it is an Australian release catalogue) does not show the RAA version for the Barrier & Tow kits as it is a known that LR do there own thing with these 2 items.

    Cargo Barrier

    It's been a while since anyone has posted about cargo barriers and seeing I'm considering getting one I wanted to see what the latest advice was;
What after market brands are available?
What are the pros and cons of other brands compared to the LR product (I assume LR have one available for the D4?) Are they easy to install and remove? Which is the easiest?
    Price???
    Thanks Marty

    Hi MartyJB,

Do a search. This subject has been debated at length on other posts recently. Milford make a barrier for the D3. It fits into the D4 without issue. I recall posting the part number on another thread. The LR barrier is/was made by Hayman Reese. Being an LR part, it is bound to be twice the cost of the other options.
    D4 2.7litre
