    Question D3 TDV6 soft rear

My rear end seems to oscilate a bit even going over a slight speed hump, the air bags seem to me to be the only thing thats holding the car up. Has anyone had this trouble? Does the suspension come seperately ie shock and bags or do you have to replace the whole assembly. I've done 100K with about 30 done off road Gibb/Tanimi/Fink and about to go again this time right turn in perth/ pilbara/ gibb across to the gulf/Birdsville/ camerons and home so I would like proforming suspension.

Sounds like you need to replace the shocks - they're separate to the air bags, although a certain amount of disassembly is required to get them out.

    Cheers,

Replace with Konis, they will perform better and last longer and may be cheaper.

Konis are cheaper but only sold by the full set.
Yes, get some Konis and let me know how they are! I want to know if they don't have the strong rebound damping that the D4's do.

    Petian,
Personally, I've used Southern Land-Rover on Albany H'way, Nr Bentley, despite being a dealership and tainted with the "rip off" brush I found them to be helpful, professional and quite reasonable. Not sure where you are with regard to warranty. Other than them Rover Tech, Kevin Falconbridge, bit of a LR guru, again very helpful usually very busy, again usually a good sign. I've never taken a vehicle to Kevin but when asked about technical stuff he knows what needs to be done and how to do it. Very pleasant guy. Rove Tech are in the same area as Southerns.
Hope this helps, I'm not affiliated to either and these are two I personally have experience with. There are a couple to stay away from, if you want these I can PM you I won't print the names for obvious reasons.
