hi lift and shovel holder on Hannibal

Has anyone put a shovel and a hilift holder on a Hannibal roof rack?

If so did you use a Hannibal product or did you use something else..

    pictures would be good

need to get ours up and out the way on the rack...currently carry the long handled shovel on the camper but I have concerns it will start to rub. roof rack currently holds nothing now
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Wow, this place really needs a 'watching intently while eating popcorn' emoticon.

Anyway, that's me - sitting, eating popcorn and watching this thread intently.

Here you go. Hannibal highlift mount. Black paint hides the gold plating

The white nylon spacer holds the hi-lift away from the roof.

I have a quickfist for the shovel but not yet mounted.

thanks mate did you buy direct from Hannibal? if so can I ask how much? I couldn't find anything on there site that showed what I was after also the shovel holder I saw on there site looked like you had to have your rails fitted...and we don't have ours fitted and don't intend to at this point either

Highlift mounts were $140 ... they are a good fit though to the rack. I bit the bullet as the rear wheel carrier I ended up with didn't have the highlift bracket, and the bumperettes I put on preclude strapping across the rear cross member, both of which would be better options for CoG.

I did originally go through Peter at Hannibal (chased him down at the Camping & 4WD Show for a rack, awing and roof top tent ... not all at once, as I couldn't hide it all from the 'brake). He quoted me the prices and then pushed me to his local agent in Perth (Ultimate 4x4). They did take a while to get in thou. If you e-mail Peter, he's very very helpful and reasonably responsive (dependent on how busy he is on the Camping show circuit).

The Hannibal Shovel mount is SS but you do need the top rail installed to use them - why I went for the quickfist.
