    D4 Bonnet protector

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum as a contributor, but have followed the topics over the past couple of months with great interest. I have today just taken delivery of a new 2.7 D4 in white. I also have a D2 and thought that was pretty good, but I am amazed at just how good the new one is. I didn't opt for the 3.0, because I am still excited by what an improvement the 2.7 is over my old one. Does anyone know if there is a bonnet protector available as our roads are pretty bad and I already got a stone chip on it on the way home. That big flat Landrover badge looks like a gigantic stone magnet to me, and it would be nice to keep it looking like new just a while longer. Thanks

Film or hideous add on ?

    Product Page - OziShield :

The stone chips are more of a problem for your window TBH.
What about all the other front-surfaces

Hi BPTP7270, yes there is a bonnet protector. I ordered mine when I ordered the vehicle. I also ordered headlight protectors and they are still not available.
    Cheers, Craig

Thanks Disco4SE, is there a particular dealer you got yours from?
I will call the other link supplied this morning because they only list a D3 product, but I am not sure that they are the same.

I think I know what you mean, I have just replaced the screen on my D2, at a cost of $1400 dollars. Thank goodness for glass insurance. By the way, I now have 2 stone chips in less than 200km. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the info Craig, I will contact them monday. A photo would be great if its not too much trouble. The dealer here in Tassie was extremely poor as far as advice on extras and really had no info at all on the vehicle. Thanks again, Anthony

This is what they look like except clear, this is a factory one for the D3 even tho' it is the same bonnet.
I just painted the underside with a gloss black & that way it "always" looks clean & you cant scratch it.
