    Need bolt sizes

Can someone please tell me the dimensions for the flange bolts for the rear drive flange of a WAxxxxxx VIN, Tdi Defender 110????

I think they are 3/8" UNF 8.8 but don't know the length and was hoping to pick some up whilst on holidays. Then I can do the rear pinion seal when I get home.

8.8 is used to describe metric high tensile fasteners. If they are UNF then the description is SAE Grade 5.

    drive flange or propshaft?

the pinion seal requires removal of the propshaft and those nuts and bolts are reusable with loctite 243 on the threads.

the drive flange bolts on the wheel hub dont need to be touched to do the pinion seal on the diff.

Sorry that's me not being concise.

    Yes, propshaft ones.

I know they are reusable but my experience with this vehicle has been that I should have spares on hand to replace the old ones as they are usually stuffed when they come off - happened to several other key bolts underneath.

    3/8th unf x 1 1/8th inch long

    with nyloc nuts...

the nuts for the diff end are 3/8th inch in overall height and the gearbox end are 31/64ths overall height.
