Well after paying hundreds of dollars to have the techs do it only to have the sensor get dust on it in remote locales.
So I bought "The Wet method" with a dabbing stick as well.
Dust Aid!!!
I have also watched the utube vids and had as much advice given as possible so soon I will give it a go!
Any advice?

I've bought Dust Aid too. Haven't used it yet as I have so far managed with the blower. The FX sensor and dust bunnies are a BIG problem. Sending the camera off for a clean is another problem.
Post up when you use it and let me know how you get on.

I bought a D70 off ebay and found it to be very dirty on the sensor. I bought a rocket blower which removed most of the spots. I bought some Pec Pads and Eclipse E2 solution. Set up today and attacked it with a cut down rubber spatula covered with a pec pad. One swipe per pad and a photo in between to check how it was going. The first swipe removed all but one spot. The second turned it from black to brown and smaller. The third clean as a whistle. Very happy with the result and I have enough left to last a very long time. Hopefully the rocket will be all I need for some time. Now all I need is to take a decent shot to enter the comps.
Hey,
Feedback is that I didn't end up using the swabs, just dabbed it with the dust aid and all my troubles were over. It was a little stressful but in the end it was painless and easy. Have to make sure the D2X has plenty of batto and took a few test shots in between but all good. Very happy!
I.
As in..... It nearly wrecked this shot but hopefully gone now....
