NCOP - what's the deal (limbo??)

Originally the Vic Roads VSI wrt to tyre sizes outlined a change from stock size by a maximum of 15mm larger or smaller.

Recent correspondence from them was that for a 4wd a change of +50mm or -26mm was acceptable, and that I could find this info on the infrastructure.gov.au site, as per the NCOP.

Ok I've found the document and it seems to confirm what Vic Roads have told me.

    So.

Is that a piece of fair dinkum legislation?

Only for Victorians if VicRoads have published that they are refering to the NCOP for that area. The NCOP isn't nationally ratified at this stage although there are a number of areas where the states do refer to it.
