Weeds what did it cost you in all to buy the winch and get it set up and running (if you dont mind me asking) - basically how does it compare with the costs of an electric winch?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

$450 for the complete setup. . .probabley paid too much

$200 for a new exhaust as it had to re-routed to fit the pto shaft along the chassis which was a good time to not refit the mufflers

a bit of steel to make a cradle

i reckon i got a bargin, i was about to buy a maxi pto/hydraulic pump

its been on since the 60th and only used the twice. . .must get out morr

Here is mine, never used it because it needs attention and took it off as soon as i got the car. going to get around to getting it up and running soon (he says again). So, I have a PTO, but the setup sucks.

The PTO unit is emblazoned with "Shute Upton Engineering Brisbane" and is fine. Have no pictures of it at the moment, but can take some if there is any interest.
