My good deed for the next decade or more.
Yep helped some one out. Sorry no pic`s . Was on my way home from work, about 1.30 this afternoon. I recovered a Toyota Pirus. As it turned out they were a group of three American tourist on there way to Cockatoo and did a left when they should have gone striaght on. So the driver must of panicked a bit and tried to do a U turn. Problem is there are some mighty deep storm drains that run alongside the roads around here. As the driver soon found out. He said as he moved of the road the car slid side ways into the drain. That was were I found them and the car bellied out. I could have left them there. But I thought nah bugger it a bit of fun to be had. So planned to tow them out but the shackles I have where to big to fit through a tow point under the front of the car. So had to winch them. Was a hire car, so they were not particularly worried about collateral damage. As it turned out there was none from me,only some character stripes from the bank they had slid into. There was also another 4wd driver that stopped and his passenger kept a eye on the traffic, whilst the driver went down a bit further and had his hazard lights on. So there was one mighty happy bunch of tourists soon on there way to Cockatoo.
Cheers Hall

Agreed good on you. I always try to help a standard driver where I can, especially tourists leaves them with a better impression of the country/people.
