Mate, how long is a piece of string? I would imagine they've built in a bit of a negotiation buffer, particularly if it is a dealer. You've been looking around for a while now, so you've probabley got a better grasp of the prices being paid. At the end of the day, it comes down to what it's worth to you.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Pity you missed this mate...below Redbook price too...
any one from here the new proud owner?
I reckon that's pretty high.
Does it have CDL installed? or at least the internals?
It would need to have a bit of bling for that price.

bargain.. ah well ill keep looking.
the one im looking at is in a yard in queensland, its a black td5 2002 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY MY2003.
Let us know if you want anything looked over. I found that Melbourne had the best vehicles, condition and pricewise. When I bought mine I was living in Cairns, I looked at cars up and down the eastern seaboard, all Queensland cars had considerable rust issues. I ended up buying a Toorak tractor, and driving it back to FNQ. Have you tried offering $15,000?

MY2003 is the first of the D2a. In that case, the price is more realistic. It will have the CDL and the upgrades.
Mine is an 02MY - the last of the D2. 2002 was the change over year.
It may definitely be worth a closer look.

PM MickS, last time I saw him he was thinking about selling his as he never gets a chance to drive it. Don't think he's even used the air lockers offroad yet.
Super well setup car
