300Tdi Where do these wires go?
I have recently removed a 300Tdi from my Discovery and put it all back togeather. BUT since going back togeather the Temperature guage does not work nor does the Taco...
Am i correct in believing the wires in the back of the Alternator are the ones responsible for the Taco reading?
And as for the Temperature guage i am sure i know why it is not working however i can not determine where ther related wires need to be connected. I have two wires which come out of the NEG lead right next to the Fuse box but i am not sure if they should be wired into the box and if so where. I do have pictures of these wires but for some reason the upload page wont load... I will keep trying but untill then if you know the wires im speaking of please let me know
Kind Regards James.

Taco is a brown lead that runs to the back of the alternator from the main engine harness
Water temp is a green lead that runs with the oil pressue warning lead along the DS of engine from main engine harness. It connects to temp sender screwed into head just behind the thermostat housing.
Does that help?

To anyone who has a 300Tdi would you mind tacking the top off the fuse box in the engine bay and taking a photo of how the wires are set in place... and if you know what each of them are reliable for could you also mention that in the post
Cheers James.
