hello to all.just sounding off my voice about sound proofing.now i have a 2000 td5,i have read some post about the engine noise.now to me i love the sound of the engine most when you are gear change right up to 1st to 5th or even gearing down.i will never look to sound proof because listening to the engine note lets you when something is going wrong.it has help twice,the first time with idle pulley bearing and then water pump,if u want a quite engine get something else.
