    swb weight

    giday all im purchasing 2 series 2 landys one is diesel one is petrol ones a full hard top the other a truck cab im just curious as to how heavy one of these are i have to tow them a long way tottenham to canberra and dont wish to be stuck with a broken trailer or what not from over loading

    An SWB is about 1300kg, an LWB is about 1500 kg, depending on what you have installed.

    i think it is around 1300 also, does depend on oils and fuel because all of this can add a fair bit of extra weight well maybe 60kg but still.i am assuming you are taking one at a time, if so you will have no problems.

    On the rego papers of my 88" station wagon it says Tare 1010 GVM 2020.

    That is not correct. In addition the 88 is not a 1 tonner, indeed the standard long wheel base is not a one tonner. You need a one ton 109 landrover to carry the weight indicated on your papers.
