Proposed trip to Straddie tomorow, advice?

Planning a trip to North Straddie tomorow. Haven't had a lot of experience in the sand, nor am I into extreme 4wd, just wanted to take the family for a bit of light off roading. Planning on going Amity to Blue lake on the Tripod Rd, and then maybe on the Fishermans track along and off at Main Beach. Is anyone familiar with these tracks? Are they reasonably easy?

Is Dunwich to blue lake open, had 2 people tell me different things saying the road is blocked off now. Many thanks!

How was Straddie?

Awesome! Didn't do anything too strenuous but still managed to nearly get myself in trouble a few times. Posted some photos in the general area this morning

Did you find a track to Blue Lake? I wanted to go there when we went over recently, but we ended up walking from the car park instead. (which is prob good exercise)

How was the tripod track? I ran out of time last trip. Like you, I'm not into extreme - just enjoy a bit of offroading.

Not even sure if we were on the tripod track? Seemed to be an awful lot of tracks closed off. Went on a few track and came out on the road again. Great stuff though!
Couldn't believe how well the fender performed.
