Talking Wish me luck - warranty about to expire!

    Distinguished Colleagues,

Must admit to the beginnings of a cold chill that's developing along my spine as I approach the 22nd October. This is the day my Puma factory warranty expires.

Although I have an extended Allianze warranty, I do feel like I'm about to plunge into unchartered waters.

My vehicle is going OK at the moment - but after 3 years of ownership, the vehicle hardly inspires confidence.

So - wish me luck. If my Puma continues it's behavior of the first 3 years, it's going to turn into a Jeep.

    Cheers,

you obviously have not been reading any jeep forums...

the Allianze warranty insurance story makes for a bit of an interesting read as well i am finding.

to their credit i have read several stories about them having a shot at dealers for shonky behavior.

hope your expedience is a good one....

as an aside, lots of my reading has been about light - mid duty euro spec diesels in various brands and the trend that stands out to me is that if they are not worked they will play up much earlier than they would if worked.

    Yeah - but I have - I am a sick puppy.

There are 2 distinct Allianze policies, as I understand it - I have the original older one which provides, according to their own statement in the policy document .... coverage for everything the original manufacturer's warranty would provide for...

In my favor, as everything bar the windscreen has been changed under the original warranty, I should be OK!

Even after driving around with Jeeps on the weekend, and having them fail all around him.

Best wishes, perhaps your Puma will be the first one with an Isuzu engine

Do mean if they are Chipped etc... they are having better luck with their reliability?

    Cheers,
