Shock absorber length

Could someone please give me the compressed and extended length of a rear shock absorber for a 109 series 2a/3 civilian.

Hi,

I just exchanged Shock absorbers on my 109" and bought the N78 and N69 from Old Man Emu.

The N78 is the front one and the measurement are 447mm and 287mm

The N69 is the rear one and it measures 470 and 290mm

So, was there never any variation in Range Rover shocks? I mean if I went to a supplier and said "Give us some Rangie shocks, mate." is there only one item he could hand over?
