    Unhappy Prado owner.....Video

I stole this link from the LROCV site. Apparently the video was taken on Melbourne Cup weekend at (or should I say 'in') the Wonnangatta River.

    "Oh what a feeling "

Flyreels, you have to either save it and open it in a media player program, or open it directly into a media playing program.

Hope it was insured and empty!

you would have to be mad to attempt to drive through a river flowing that fast.

Pitty the poor sods inside the car. You don't want to stay in it but then you would want to have good life insurance if you were going to try and get out...

I've got a Prado and know it'll go anywhere....... But surely anyone with half a brain could see that crossing a river in flood like that, was an impossible, stupid thing to attempt.
Years ago when working at Bamboo Creek I took some of the lads out on a Sunday for a trip to Shay Gap in a Toyota Coaster bus, but got to the De Grey and the water was running hard and well up my thighs.
Despite the pleadings of my loony mates no way was I going to attempt that.
So we drank the "emergency only" cartons we'd bought along instead.

This was posted a week or so ago, can't remember if it was in general chat or not?
Apparently the guy had his wife and 2 kids in the car as well. I think someone on this forum helped rescue them, would have been a scary ride, luckily they all got out ok. No way would I have attempted that with the river flowing that fast!!
