    Please identify this car circa 1940

    I would appreciate it if someone could identify this car. The pic was taken around 1940 (+/- 5 years) in Sydney.

    My guess (and it is a guess) is a mid 30s Dodge

    A Dodge 6 cyl and she may be right, I think that was the "Silver Anniversary" model

    Well before 1940. I'll agree with UncleHo. '36 Dodge. Good bit of kit, better than the Chev. of the time and a far better car than the '36 Ford .

    No idea but I assume not as he's a distant relative and there's never been any sign of wealth in my family tree
