Hi. Thinking about updating the wheels on my 93 TDi. Just wondering if anyone knows if the discovery series wheels will fit? Seems to be a lot more of those around 2nd hand. All or any particular series?

Does anyone know if modern Puma rims will fit my 93 200TDI wheel pattern?
Might have sourced some Discovery series 1 rims today but was told would need different tyres than on the discovery? Was wondering why?
I have fairly thin, tall cheese cutters on mine at the moment. Just wondering if I put lower profile tyres / mags on it what effect it would have to performance. Not actual low profile tyres, just lower, wider road style tyres. Would it be quicker off the mark but higher revving on the highway or vice versa?
Lower profile tyres means a reduction in circumference.
That means quicker off the mark but a slower top speed.

Yes they will fit but i personally think they look like crap on a defender, you could paint them all black?
You could be in for some rubbing problems ( i was) with ( i believe) the offset being different, hence why the centers are cut out of disco steel rims
Thanks, I ended up picking up some from a new Puma. Look like they should be the business
