Vacuum Switches Not Working - 85 County

My air controls are all vacuum operated, and it seems none of them work. Do these things die of old age? Are they fixable, or is it more likely I am not getting vacuum through to them.

The A/C doesnt work but its no use getting it regassed until I can be sure to get some air into the cab.

Any suggestions on testing or fixes would be appreciated.

Check all the hoses first. They go hard, crack and split. You may also have wear in the valve body but check the hoses and joiners first.

If you have the factory air you will be disappointed in its performance. Might have been fine in a pommie summer but the system is bloody near useless in the tropics.

See if you can find a fridgie who will regas with the LP gas. This is more efficient than the Freon replacement we are now forced to accept by the do-gooders.

This happened to mine and it was accompanied by a hissing noise which made tracking down the broken pipe rather easy.
