    Non-slip/grip tape?

Have recently fitted sliders to the 110. Now the boss reckons the kids and her slip on them getting in the vehicle.

Have tried hardwares and trade supplies with no luck. The non slip floor blokes only want to sell minimum amounts.

I only need a small amount to cover the top outer tube and maybe the top outside edge of the box section.

    Any help appreciated.

    Tod.

Try a 'safety shop' they should sell the non-slip tape for stair treads.

I used some of the Whitworths stuff recently. Be warned, it's VERY grippy - copped a couple of grazes that drew blood on the back of the calf from not being careful when alighting the vehicle. Partly due to me placing the tape a little over the side of the sliders, because I was worried about slipping off the edge of them.

Also, I've notice an area that I most commonly must put my fut that has worn the grip off.

Not sure if skateboard stuff is better. I bought some of that first, but the Whitworths was perfect width, so no trimming required, only cutting to length. I'm going to use the wider skateboard stuff on my bullbar where extra width is required. Dangerously slippery when wet and standing on it to get to the further parts of the engine bay.

Or a truck spare parts outlet.
Used for fuel tank steps or walking plates.
Sold by the metre in 2 widths last time I looked.
    Cheers, Kyle
