    Source for white screw blocks

I'm after a few of the square white screw blocks that are used in the transmission cover panels (among other places) of my county. They fit into a square hole in the panel, then you insert a screw into them.

Are they a LR only part or can you buy generic ones. I've had a look at Supercheap/Autobarn etc but can't see anything similar in their trim fasteners section.
If they are LR only, does anyone have a P/No as I cant find them listed in the manual I have.

Alternatively, what can I use to replace them with? Something like Tinnerman nuts?

I bought some off a panel beater a few years ago. They were the smaller square ones though. It is worth a try.

They are an LR part. UncleHo may have the number. I tried Austral at Buranda a couple of years ago and got blank looks (as you do when you try to buy almost any parts there for non-current vehicles) and tried a couple of the fastener shops and EAS but no joy. Try FWD at Yeerongpilly. They may have them.

Also available from Roverparts.com.au for 77c each: (ignore the 5 in brackets - that is how many they think are fitted per car and has no bearing on costs)

    Land Rover parts - NUT - L/ROVER (PLASTIC) (5)

After looking around and coming up with very little, I bought some at, of all places, Supercheap.

A little off topic, but I've been looking around for sources of cable & pipe mounting hardware to replace the ones on my County.

This includes the plastic clips that push into the chassis and firewall to hold brake and fuel hoses, the straps that hold cables to the firewall and so on.

If anyone knows where you can get this sort of thing, please post it up somewhere.
