anyone recommend good aftermarket water pump for 300Tdi?

chucked a new water pump in the defender about 18 monthes ago and its already kaput!.......kinda annoyed as the truck hasnt moved for the last 6 monthes due to me joining the army.

anyone had any good experiences with a particular brand or bad experiences ??

it might not be the water pump quality, if your other pulleys are not aligned properly due to bearing wear it could cause your pulley bearing/seal to go kaputt earlier.

ring MR automotive and get a genuine one from them.

as already mentioned all the other pullys need to be in good order and a US thermoclutch or out of balance fan will also kill them.
