    Breakdown Insurance QLD

Who does breakdown insurance in QLD? Tried searching on the net and have only found a few of places (RACQ,247motoring and NRMA). Surely there must be more than 3? Maybe I am using the wrong search terms?

    TIA

I've been with RACQ for years, never seen an NRMA truck anywhere up here, as far as I'm aware the main one is RACQ if you want to join a club to get this benefit, then there are plenty of places that will do casual tows or similar like Marshall batteries (not sure what theirs is called, Roadside Rescue or something) who have a no joining one that you use as needed.

Can't go past RACQ though. Every time i need them, even if I've done something silly like run out of fuel, there they are with a free jerry can of petrol.

    RACQ Ultra care.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

NRMA is for only NSW with affiliations to the other state auto clubs for coverage in other states - I believe RACQ, RACV etc all work on the same principle.

I have NRMA Premium Roadside assistance and have used it - will not collect you offroad (ie track or trail) but designated dirt road is OK. Read the fine print to see where they will collect you from. Not sure about the middle of the Canning Stock Route but if the tilt tray can get there and is inside the terms of the service then it is worth getting.

I thought ultimate care just also covered caravans etc as well ?

What does ULTIMATE give over and above Ultra?

P.S. i used my Ultra care the other day when I had the Defender on a tilt tray.... hmmmm, sad story.

At the moment until the end of February RACQ members get 20% off anything from Repco. That amongst other things makes it worth being a member.

I am with RACQ Ultra, and have used them twice on major breakdowns interstate, and as a result have been under the impression that all the car clubs RACQ, RACV, NRMA etc., use the same Insurance Company. I say this because once I have gotten over the preliminaries and the company rings me back with pick up recovery details etc., (The joys of a Disco!) they have always announced themselves as something other than the club organisation to which I belong.
With this in mind try the following address and see where it leads you. 24/7 Roadservices Australia - Keeping you on the Road - Roadside Service Products.
If this one is unsatisfactory, keep searching and see what comes up.
    http://www.mondial-assistance.com.au...ve-assistance/
If you search under "Roadside Assistance" quite a number of various clubs and organisations pop up around the globe all using the same name.
There aren't really that many different insurance Companies out there once you dig up who owns who.
