A few years back, some people of similar ethical and moral disfunction stole Rick Stein's Defender while he was in Sicily, filming. Poor bloke was devastated. Rick Stein's Landrover is stolen in Italy | Mail Online

I later heard that upon hearing that they were making a documentary about the food of the island and the people and that all the caera equipment was in the back, some of the locals made a phone call to the right 'man' and within a day or so the vehicle was found.

I doubt the cops could have got that done so quickly!

Make some calls Pedro....make some calls!
