    Poll - Ducks....

So here's a poll to resolve the longest standing argument in our household

Dumb poll, I know; but I'd be interested to know how many people like each of the these.

    For reference:

    Vertical Ducks

    Horizontal Ducks

I would say it depends entirely on how they are to be cooked....

I've never cooked a duck vertically, only horizontally.

So I'll vote horizontal, although I prefer the attitude of the verticals.

One should always "Plucka Duck" before cooking.

But if one needs a tarpaulin, this type of duck might be of interest:

Notwithstanding all the prior humorous posts ,

and assuming you are referring to domestic use, it all depends whether you are wanting the birds as pets, for eggs, or for meat

the indian runners (the tall & skinny ones) are lighter and said to be good for all purposes

the rouens/mallards (green head-dress) are said to be good as meat birds

dullbird could be on the money with the pekin duck as a two-way bet

    ...... & now I'd better (d)uck off
