G'day all. Are any of you using Trackranger software? and does it work with the DX GPS's that Ranga has recommended and can be modified?

I have seen Trackranger at a 50% discount at the moment so looks like a good buy at $99, as I have heard that it is more comprehensive than Oziexplorer. I want to be able to link the GPS with my notebook to record my tracking and travel details.
Your thoughts or experiences please?
