    Electrical shutdown

    Hello, I have recently purchased a used 08 FL2 TD4 HSE.
    this is my first post
I love the vehicle and planning first beach drive this weekend.
I have one thing that is wrecking the whole experience and seeking some advice on probable cause and remedy.
During the shut down process it will on occasion fail to eject the key fob and all electrics totally shut down. Re activation requires open and closing bonnet or rear door manually. i notice all trip data reverts to zero identifying it does completely reset the electronics.
Thoughts are faulty key fob (x2)
Short in system - the front cigarette socket does not work yet rear does.
Will take to dealer but seeking some wise words before the stories start from their end thus lightening my pocket further.

Can't help on the shut down, but it's unlikely the cig lighters are part of the symptoms.

The front one is wired through the ignition, the rear isn't. It's available full time.

    Regards

If it's an 08MY, then the car might still be under warranty.

There's been a couple of reports of faulty remote docks but get the dealer to check it out anyway.
