    New chrome balls

    Hi all,

I am looking for a set of new or near new genuine chrome balls for the front of the fc 2b. Fred smith has my diffs and says he keeps getting Indian genuine items that aren't the real deal.

    Did perentie have stronger balls?

Does anyone have a set they are willing to sell? The housing is early county.

I hope the aulro can help me on this one so I can get my baby back off the beaten track!,

    Oh Garry,

Jealousy is a curse.....it's on axle stands and in a safe place. Diffs have been at fed smith now since September!

So what makes the "new" balls lesser quality. Being made in India, or Australia or Timbucktu does not by itself mean they are not as good. Is the metal lesser quality? If so how do you know this - how can you tell? Or are you just repeating what has been said to you. If so how did they know?
I am not trying to pick an argument here - its just that I recently bought one and would like to know how, just by looking at them, you can tell that the metal or tolerances are better or worse.
    Cheers
