Sometimes when you jack up both wheels you can fool it into thinking it's in extended mode. Easy fix though, start it up, shut the doors and lower to standard height. Maybe thats what you are thinking of.

they go up on 2 posters ok.
I prefer to let the thing goto "sleep" before I lift it and not wake it up till its back on all 4 paws.
doing the "reset" on the suspension so far has taken care of the suspension on the one I've had up a couple of times at work now.

I leave the drivers door open.
Once when I had to change all four tyres, I what them struggle with the car lifting, then insisted that I take control, dropped the vehicle (whilst hoist lowered) to access, took out key and left door ajar. No further problems except to ensured they did not try to put a block under the compressor !!
The boss was not impressed with my insistence until I pointed out to him that the resultant damages which could have resulted would be much more than the 4 x tyre/fitting.

No issues with 2 post lifts, used one recently. I just raise the suspension to full height before it goes up.

Confirmation required.- Generally most adjustable suspensions will only be upset if something is changed/loosened/undone while the suspension is extended. However a few air suspensions do warn about 'hanging ' the suspension off the airbags, and potentially damaging the bags.
