    Hema Nav 1 problems

    Hi people
I have one of the first generation Hema Navigators. Now while I am not as knowledgable as I should be in it's use - I do know it's a bit 'kangaroo edward" at the moment...

Plugged it into the PC the other night to charge the battery (as the PC happened to be on) and now I have:

    1) No Route 66 street nav software and
    2) only World Map in offroad mode

On reconnection to Route 66 it says I need to download the navigation software, but when I try I get an error message saying it failed. I also notice that neither Hema nor VMS appears in Route 66 manufacturer menu so I've chosen "other" and Windows Mobile as the OS.

Memory Map still seems to exist...

Any ideas? If notheing else I need to get the street nav component operational as I need it for work!
    Cheers
    Mike

    Hey mate,
I would be able to get it back up again I think, I had a fair bit to do with them and have most of the software, PM me if your interested, I work out your way quite a bit, maybe I could grab it from you and sort it out.

    Cheers

That's only a good thing Mike! It's apalling.
I'm desperately trying to get rid of my Route 66 and replace it with something else, but it seems impossible!

    Cheers,
