    roof console for 110

    gday all

i have checked previous posts, but am still wondering what the options for a roof console are for my Defender 110. that dont require cutting the sun visors, i am not handy, so wont be able to make or fit one myself, will have to rely on a professional to do it, all responses gratefully received, cheers

    Hey man,

I was going to design my own in Sketchup. You can download fairly accurate Defender models and then draw up a box following the contour of the roof. Then I plan on building it from pine and taking it to an auto upholsterer. I don't think its worth paying $500+ for a roof console.

Sketchup is a pretty easy program to learn - plus there is tons of support on youtube, so you shouldn't have any real dramas. I'm designing a kitchen unit now for my Deefer

I went the department of the interior - mine is the second last set of photos in the pre-07 deefer ones (the deep profile). Been happy since I got it (in 03).
