    Thanks Geedublya

Interesting, an unusually rational and even handed review, might be worth put this as a link in the FAQ or the like as it is an independent and impartial view for those seeking feedback on a new or used D3/D4 purchase.

Nice to see the vehicle reviewed based on the way "most" will use it, i.e as a daily driver with the occasional off road foray and longer road trip. Rather than the narrow focus of many so call 4wd reviewers who try and conjure up diabolical reliability issues and the lack of available spares etc as a major downside when in remote locations, a scenario only relatively few owners will find themselves.

    George

One of the errors is that the suspension drops down at 40kph when of course it is 50kph.

Reviews on Carsales is hiprocracy at it's best. Major manufactures are spending millions a year on advertising with Carsales, so are the scribes really telling all?. I don't think so, you only ever get the paid story.

However, you always get the real story with Alan Whiting. He's the real deal and a nice bloke to boot!

BTW, I have a D3, but have have owned a considerable amount of rubbish that Carsales guy's thought was just great. Mmmmmm.

55kph in my D4....starts pinging around the 40s but doesn't change until 55.

Sand performance has been done to death on this forum....I think it's more Urban Myth than fact.
