D4 3.0 Fuel Gauge Sensor Replaced - Possible Bulletin

					Hi All,

I had a oil weep from the turbo (diagnosed by Graeme Cooper LR at first service) and rectified last week under warranty by Alto LR.

After the rectification, the next day the fuel gauge kept flickering between on and "empty" (with associated yellow warning light).

Today Alto LR replaced the "R&R Fuel Sender Unit" under something called Tech(s) 4215 4539 4255. And the service manager told me they have replaced the part with a modified version.

 Parts replaced were:
 Float-Front
 Float-Rear
 Gasket
 Hose Clip
 Fuel Tank Dust Cover

So just in case you have that problem, it might be a known fault.

 D4 3.0 SE MY10

 Cheers!

Just had the same issue rectified with the exact same parts list on my RRS. Car actually shut down on freeway and required a tow! Not fun.
