I assume you mean the intermediate shaft hole has ovaled? This is apparently a common LT230 problem.
MR Automotive in Brisbane can bore the case out and fit steel sleeves.
I had my transfer case seals done back 6mths plus due to bad oil leak, at the time the repairer advised with visual confirmation that the main shaft had worn out part of the casing.
After a $350 replacement case was purchased and all seals done all was good for a while, until now with again the same oil leak, granted not as bad as first time but back to square one.
My question is does any one know of a place in Melbourne that could help with maybe a brass bush or something that would not wear out as quick.

After having another look at the old case I might be wrong and you are right.
But the oil is leaking at the bottom of the handbrake drum.
I wanted to overhaul my handbrake altogether as I have to replace the cable so was thinking of replacing shoes as well, but with trans oil everywhere, there is no point in doing so till the leak is fixed.
If only I had the spare cash I would get a disc brake conversion from the UK.
Yeah, well I'm not happy that it only lasted around 6mths

I had the same problem with mine. Found that the nyloc nut holding the output flange on was loose. There is a felt seal under the washer to stop oil migrating along the splines. I removed my flange and cleaned everything up and used sikaflex sealant on the splines. It has been dry for 20K now. Could also be the seal if your flange has worn where the seal runs. If so you will need a spedi sleeve or a new flange. I just bought some spedi sleeves they were about $35 each.
