    Biomax B20 for Disco 2a

I'm a first time Disco owner (2003 D2a) and am wonderign what the latest advice on using Biodiesel, partucluarly the B20 (20% BioDiesel) Biomax? My local servo is selling it, and would love to use it if I can be confident that no harm will come to my new love.

Hang on a sec.. just asked the servo and it seems they no longer stock BioDiesel, so my original post seems to be moot point.

Does anyone know if bioDiesel is available commercially in Melbourne (SE subs)?

WHAT? where did you reach that understanding? The td5 was designed to run on almost any combustible liquid. Theres nothing in a td5 to trouble it running B20. It is a very basic but modern efficient direct injection diesel, and part of its design was to be able to run on a variety of "suspect" fuel expected to be fed to it in places like africa and india. I have run B20 in mine for about 100,000km now.

Thats good to know, I got that impression from the people who say they end up replacing so many fuel pumps as a result of people running it.
Partly from some of the UK forums too, any Google search on the subject supports it as well
Its interesting to hear from someone who has done it for 100000km
